Expect the full gamet of the Hospital sound here – from experimental cuts to downright dancefloor anthems. These tunes have been going off at Hospitality events around the globe and are breaking onto the radio with support from DJs across the board – from Annie Mac to Zane Lowe, Mary Anne Hobbs to Mistajam.

The first signs of the sickness came in the shape of the sampler 12” featuring the massive Logisitics remix of Danny Breaks “Volume1” b/w Sigma’s Annie Mac anthem “Paint It Black”. Next up came the collectors edition 4 piece vinyl and now it’s time for the full selection, dropping on 2x unmixed CD for your extended listening pleasure, 21 tracks of scalpel sharp – bleeding edge drum+bass pressure. Digital Electrolytes, Digitalism has recently opened a contest to the global massive.

Starting October 17^th, you and your neighbour get the chance to legally show off your production skills by remixing, ‘’taken away’’ Digitalism’s first completed title from their up and coming album. With the winner having his/her tune, on Ep and released worldwide with the French label, Kitsune.

Interested? Follow the 3 step guide below:

-          First, sign-up and download the base track from http://www.thedigitalism.com/remixcompetition.htm

-          Then,  upload your track onto your MySpace music profile(obviously if you don’t have one create one at www.myspace.com)

The Hospital Podcast has won a BT Digital Music Award for a record 3 years running.

One of Shanghai’s beloved MC’s, Goldie’s trusted right-hand-man, MC Lowqui bid farewell to London, and now living in sunny Australia. 

常常与Goldie一起访华的MC Lowqui离开英国了！

他将在这个月和女友移民到澳洲，所以刚刚在这个星期办了一个盛大的慈善派对，表演嘉宾包括Goldie, Storm, D-Bridge, Commix, Klute, Bailey, Doc Scott, Marcus Intalex, Skream等。。 看来他真的收到众人的喜爱！他的离开对我们来说可能没有什么分别，因为我们还是会邀请他从澳洲来华的呀。

Lowqui says:
“I’m emigrating to Australia, so to say “au revoir” in the way I know best, I’ve invited some of my favourite DJ’s and MC’s down to have a leaving party! Critical Music is a UK drum n bass label releasing some of the freshest breaks and beats around. Created and nurtured by Kasra, the imprint has gone from strength to strength over the past 5 years and with a white hot release schedule for 2008 continues to move at breakneck speed.

Lock N Load and Alchemy teamed up together to create a very special event to welcome the legend himself Grooverider, who returned back to the UK after a lengthy stretch inside a Dubai prison.

The event, aptly named Return Of The Legend, was held at KOKO on the 11th October 2008 and featured an all-star line up. The event was said to be not only a tribute to the man himself and a big ‘Welcome Home’, but also as a thank you to all those who supported Grooverider in his time of need.
