鼓打贝司在10年前在英国可谓备受瞩目，有点风起云涌的味道。当时这个一直蛮地下的电子音乐一下子成了“半主流”，其实很大的原因是1997年Reprazent的New Forms得到了英国权威音乐奖项Mercury Prize (还记得Brown Paper Bag吗？)。而Krust就是身为Reprazent的主要成员之一。

DJ KRUST is the co-founder of the widely-praised FULL CYCLE crew. Alongside Roni Size, DJ Die and Suv they created the landmark album Reprazent’s NEW FORMS, which landed them the most prestigious music award England offers, the Mercury Prize in 1997.

Siesta: Krust是我见过最有“禅”味的dnb能人。第一次在伦敦见到他的时候就发现他是一个很好的聆听者，跟很多大牌艺人很不同－所以印象非常深刻。Krust推崇人文哲学，相信大脑无限的能量。他这种特别的气质也在他的音乐中体现出来。99年和美国诗人／MC／演员Saul Williams 合作的 Coded Language已经酝酿着一种传世精神，06年的Hidden Knowledge专辑更将他的信念推到另一个境界。
